A morning jog is just what a young twenty-something social media strategist like Emily Cooper needs in order to stay fit and healthy. And in a city like Paris, there are so many options on where to run. But even you have to admit that her choice, the Jardin Jardin du Luxembourg is excellent! The luscious greeneries, the stunning statues, and the breezy Parisian air in the morning provide the perfect environment to get that adrenaline pumping while still enjoying the view!

After a morning jog, what does Emily do? Get breakfast, of course! And for a busy working girl such as herself, she only has time for a quick bite before going to work! Fortunately, the famous bakery, Boulangerie Moderne, is on her route going home. Here, a treasure trove of freshly baked Parisian treats await her—and any of you who'd want a quick yet quintessential French breakfast—from classic croissants to tall baguettes. But what she eventually went with was also a winner: un pain au chocolat!

The girl is in Paris! It's also her first time in the French capital! So while she was sent here to work, you can't blame her for wanting to take a few snapshots for social media. It is her job after all. And you can't fault her for sneaking in some selfies as well. How else will her followers know how fabulous her new life in Paris is? Though there are many spots to choose from, the Pont Des Arts were yet another excellent choice! Who wouldn't want to take a selfie by a world-famous bridge where millions of lovers have "locked" their love away?

Time for lunch! Now, what is Emily up to this time? Is she discussing business with clients? Trying to impress her French co-workers to warm up to her more? Laughing out loud with her Crazy Rich Asian-turned-nanny friend, Mindy? Or perhaps checking out her hot chef of a neighbor, Gabriel, between very bite? Whichever it is, one thing's for certain: this girl's got taste! In one of the episodes, she chose the famous Lulu La Nantaise as her culinary hotspot. It's a have for fine French food with dishes to die for!

Here in Paris, before you know it, it's already the afternoon! And if you've reached that point at work where you need some more energy to keep going, why not get coffee? But forget about making yourself a cup in the office! A Parisian way to drink coffee is to enjoy it in a café! At least, that's what Emily did in her Netflix show! She even went to the iconic Café de Flore for her caffeine fix! As her professor beau Thomas explained to her, the café was a 1920s hotspot that the likes of Jean-Paul Satre and Gertrude Stein frequented! It doesn't get any better than this!

As a social media strategist handling luxury brands, it's pretty common for Emily to have to go to Paris' best art galleries and rub shoulders with famous perfumers, hotel moguls, and luxury connoisseurs. But when she just wants to one for fun, it's no surprise she went to L’Atelier des Lumières. Immersive doesn't even begin to describe the experience here! Within these vast walls, the artworks aren't hung like int traditional museums. They're projected onto the space, even inviting you—or in this case, Emily, Camille, and Gabriel—to be part of the classic works.

Finally, the sun is going down and it's time to go home. But remember, like Emily, you're in Paris! The most beautiful city in the world! Don't just go to work and go home! Enjoy the amazing views the French capital has to offer. And in this stunning twilight, heading off to Trocadéro is a good idea. If you're like Emily, you're probably going there anyway for an elegant soirée! Nothing beats seeing the Eiffel Tower sparkle against the stars from the vantage point. Well, if you lived in the many luxury apartments here, that'd be better!

Le Grand Véfour must be a pretty exclusive restaurant! The fact that even a hotel mogul like Randy Zimmer couldn't get a table there means you have to know the right connections or reserve months in advance in order to eat here. After all, world-famous gourmet chef Guy Martin does run the place! And once one gets to taste what he makes, all that waiting and reserving for a table in advance would make sense! Just make sure you don't repeat Emily's mistake of booking a table on a different month!

Emily's got the right idea: when the day is done, something sweet is the perfect way to end it. So of course, for a tasty Parisian treat, she went to La Maison Rose with Mindy! Though it's more of a wine bar than a dessert place, they do serve some amazing sweets here! And you have to admit, a nice little dessert session with your best girlfriend in a pretty pink restaurant is always a winner! Just don't forget your wine! Pairing it with something sweet is a Parisian way to drink it!

Netflix's new show, "Emily in Paris," may be a cheesy American rom-com series that's full of overly-used tropes and predictable storylines, but you can't deny it displays an extremely desirable version of a Parisian lifestyle through its stylish protagonist, Emily Cooper.
