For her second day in Paris, Emily went straight to Boulangerie Moderne to buy some breakfast. And what did she get? Un pain au chocolate! Though the scene focused more on the saleslady's hilarious attempt at teaching Emily how to say it properly, once can't help but see just how good this Parisian treat looks. And once the protagonist bites into the pastry, you can see it from her expression that she just took a bite out of heaven. She looked to enjoy her breakfast so much that you couldn't help but feel jealous and salivate a little as she savors her mouthful!

While on a lunch date with Mindy, her failed-popstar-turned-nanny living in Paris, Emily makes a bit of a scene as she insists that the chef didn't cook her steak right. To her surprise, the chef was none other than her handsome neighbor, Gabriel. And to even more of her surprise, when both Gabriel and Midy challenged her to eat the steak, she found that it was delicious that way it was. What did she eat? It's likely it was steak au poivre. This scrumptious French dish was enough to prove Emily wrong and let her, literally, eat her words!

You can't say you've been to Paris if you didn't, at least once, eat a slice of their Fromage! Emily did it whilst shopping in the market, all gussied up with her cute had and everything! And when she got a sample from a vendor, you could see it in her face just how good Parisian cheese is. In fact, there are many shops devoted to cheese, each offering a different kind of savory, nutty, and salty taste. They pack quite a punch too, enough to leave an after taste that will have you thinking about it for days on end!

When Emily stopped by Café de Flore, it wasn't her, exactly, who got the gâteau moelleux au chocolate. It was Thomas, a sexy professor who, as stereotypes would suggest, frequented 1920s hotspots that the likes of Jean-Paul Sartre and Ernest Hemingway once hung out in. But what's the big deal with his slice of French chocolate cake? Well, apart from it was from one of Paris' most iconic cafés, it seemed that the dessert was enough of an aphrodisiac that led him to seduce Emily. Was it really a surprise that the next scene showed the couple already going at it in Emily's apartment? Probably not!

No offense to the Americans out there, but Mathieu does have a point! While American pancakes are good, they can't knock off France's crepes! The more delicate and lighter pastries pair well with everything, from sweet fruits and creamy spreads to savory sauces and delicious meats. Add to that the fact that it's easy to eat, so much so that both Emily and Mathieu enjoyed a few whilst they strolled around the city at night. With so many crepe places in the city, you'll have no trouble getting one for yourself! Enjoy it and see just how much you'll enjoy it better than any old pancake!
