While it may not have been Emily and one of her French beaus lounging about by the River Seine, the shot of the lone couple on the bank is enough to convince any pair to go there. In the scene, Emily is seen just jogging by the bank as two lovers cuddle up by the iconic river. Had she spotted Gabriel or Mathieu nearby, surely she could have hung out by that spot as well. Whether it's in the Latin Quarter or Ile de la Cité, there are many spots that lovers can simply sit on, talk, and watch as the city goes by along the beautiful river.

Who says a date in Paris has to be romantic? A night out with friends is as much a fun date as one with your significant other. Why do you think Emily and Mindy do it so much throughout the series? Whether they're eating sweets at La Maison Rose or lounging about in Jardin de Luxembourg, these two besties know how to spend their time right in Paris. But there's one thing they did that's as suitable for lovers as it was for these friends: drink wine. After all, the French prefer downing their reds with company! At times, it can be with friends, other times, with your lover!

Paris may be a beautiful city but it's also quite expensive to live here. So much so that you probably wouldn't' want to spend so much on a date, else you'll have no more if you'll decide to get married one day! If that's your case, why not take a page out of Emily's romance book and take an evening stroll yourself? If you walk along the River Seine, that'd be perfect! The cool breeze from the water will provide the right chilly atmosphere to get you to wear your partner's jacket. And, of course, the sparkles of the "City of Lights" give suitable mood lighting!

An evening stroll would often lead to breakfast the next day, right? At least, that's what one would hope. And the situation is all too familiar to Emily, who's many romantic affairs has led her to quite the adventure among the bedrooms in Paris. Though there's one scene—where Gabriel cooked Emily an omelet—that proved more romantic than the more traditional date settings. Even if you didn't spend the night together, cooking breakfast for someone is a beautiful act of love. It essentially conveys how much you care for your significant other; that you won't let them miss out on the most important meal of the day. Even though there are plenty of great brunch spots in the city!

As what this Netflix show has shown, going to art galleries in Paris is more for business than pleasure. It's here where you get to meet up with potential business clients, take with important people, and mingle with the right crowd. As far as romance is concerned, museums are great pick-up locations than actual date venues. However, when Emily and Gabriel sat down together as the works of Vincent Van Gogh are projected unto them in L’Atelier des Lumières, the romantic (and sexual) tension was simply palpable. Perhaps getting to immerse in a work of art, particularly one by an extremely passionate artist, reeks of romance too!

Going to a café is a Parisian way of life Emily easily adapted to when she went to Paris. And it was just her luck that when she went to one of the most iconic in the city, the once 1920s hotspot, Café de Flore. Here, she met and had an impromptu date with a sexy professor, Thomas. It started out with a game, a little flirtation, and before you knew it, they went back to her place! There's really something about the cafés in Paris that get people in the mood for love. Perhaps it's the warm coffee? The titillating sweets? Who knows?

Only a guy like Mathieu can whisk Emily off her feet and have her sailing on the River Seine. While other couples can only afford to sit and hang out by this iconic river, but if you have the means, why not sail on it instead? True, going on a boat on the Seine sounds more like a James Bond escape route than a romantic date, but Emily and Mathieu's moment sure looked sweet! It's all the matter of the right boat, the right time—preferably right before sunset!—and, of course, the right person! When you have the right everything, it will all seem fine!
