With its high-rise buildings, bustling avenues, and busy streets, it's difficult to imagine that London is a suitable place for a family. Sure, there are some places in the city that are peaceful enough for standard family life, but all in all, it's pretty hard to imagine that kids would love going or even living here. But they do! Unbeknownst to many, London has its fair share of playgrounds and fun areas the little ones can flock to. They keep them entertained amidst this hectic metropolis. Here are a few worth mentioning.
Battersea Park Playground
Out of all the playgrounds on this list, the one in Battersea Park is probably the most popular. The park itself is a well-known
spot to walk your dog around, but it’s even more fun when you bring the entire family here. The older kids will enjoy going on the
Go Ape! play area here, an obstacle course that's will keep their adrenaline pumping for hours. Zooming on a zipline, crossing a high-rise rope bridge, and jumping from treehouse to treehouse will be loads of fun! Meanwhile, your little ones will be just fine in the standard playground, complete with a slide, some swings, and more.

Brockwell Park
Another play area that's fun for both little and big kids, as well as the young-at-heart adults, is Brockwell Park. Located in Lambeth, it's one of the most family-friendly in the area. It features lots of exciting attractions, all catering to different age groups. The open fields serve as a great location to play some rugby, football, and other sports that the British love. The fresh air is the perfect antidote for when you go out of breath! As for your little ones? The classic playground and the mini railway will have them laughing and smiling all day long!

Clissold Park
A sandpit, a paddling pool, a trampoline, and even an animal enclosure? There sure are a lot of things to see and do in Clissold Park! Hackney isn't exactly the most suitable area for families among
the many neighborhoods of London but this park has them coming back every now and again. From the many play areas provided here, it's the perfect spot to spend an entire day with your kids outdoors. Even you can take part in some of the fun, jumping on the trampoline or accompanying your kids to see the deers and goats in the area.

Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Playground
If there's one thing the late great Princess Diana of Wales wanted to be remembered for, it's probably her love for children. Not just for her own, but for the children of the world as well. It's no wonder there's a popular playground in the Kensington Gardens that dedicated to her. Named the 'Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Playground,' it's become one of the most popular play areas in the city. After all, you don't see an actual (replica of) pirate ship in the middle of a park every day. And that's just one of many fun and exciting elements that have kids asking their folks to bring them back to the park.

Glamis Adventure Playground
The Glamis Adventure Playground in Tower Hamlets offers just that: an adventure! This isn't your standard playground where kids just swing away or climb monkey bars. Here, your little ones get to experience what it's like to live on their own, particularly developing a healthier lifestyle. The staff of the park instructs and guides them on how to build treehouses, grow vegetables in a garden, do all sorts of exercises, and more. Your children won't just get some much-needed playtime here, they'll also get an education. One that's not commonly offered even in
the city's best schools.

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
Finally, there's Queen Elizabeth Park. Despite its name, sports aren't the only games your kids can play to have fun here. In fact, they can have loads of adventures in this park, what with the sand pits, treehouses, rock pools, wobbly bridges, and more here! And those are just in the 'Tumbling Bay' area of the park. In the 'Pleasure Gardens,' on the other hand, there are oversized slides, a water fountain your kids can run around, a giant climbing wall, and another sandpit! There are more than enough features to keep your kids moving around and jumping for joy here!

London is far from the boring adult-centric city most kids think it is. There's a ton of exciting playgrounds, play areas, and more within the British capital. So much so that your children might just consider this place their new favorite city in the world!
They’ll also likely enjoy staying in the city even more when they take comfort in the
luxurious homes you can rent while you're here!
