Limni
On the other side of Corfu's famous double beach is the much-smaller but equally beautiful Limni beach. Unlike its bigger half, Limni beach is a lot more open when it comes to its sandy shoreline. The area's sandy bridge, which connects the bigger island to the smaller one, makes for a great coast for sunbathing, making sandcastles, playing beach games, and the like. Though the surrounding area is forested, the compact stretch of sand helps you get as much sunshine as you want. In many ways, Corfu's Limni beach is like a mini version of Balos Lagoon, one of the
best beaches in Crete.

Canal d' Amour
Now, if it's an astonishing natural wonder you're after, look no further than Canal d' Amour, the most popular beach on Corfu's northern coast. Pictures of the place don't do it justice; you have to really see this stunning beach in person to take in its natural majesty. The beach itself is rather small but comes with clear turquoise waters. The real stars of the area, however, are the rock formations, offering a myriad of caves, coves, and other earthly paradises that you never would've thought actually existed. Canal d' Amour beach is the type of coastline that truly reflects the wonders of Mother Nature.

Glyfada
Now, when it comes to the most popular beach in Corfu, Glyfada beach definitely takes the cake. It helps that it's located near Corfu town, the bustling capital of the island. Offering a scenic escape from the hustle and bustle of the Venetian-esque city, the 14-kilometer stretch of sand and sea has proven to be popular over the years. It's here where you get the commercial beach experience, what with all the bars, restaurants, and the like lining up the shoreline. Although you won't exactly get the peace and quiet that the other beaches offer, you'll nevertheless still get to have fun under the sun here

Agios Gordios
Another busy beach worth checking out in Corfu is Agios Gordios, located on the western coast of the island. Agios Gordios itself is a resort town, offering both peace and comfort to all visitors. Of course, its eponymous beach isn't an exception. This sandy beach, complete with coastal resorts, seaside establishments, and sunbeds you can relax on, provides everything you need to have a nice day by the sea. Although it tends to get busy here, it doesn't get as bustling as Glyfada beach. In fact, if you're lucky, you might even snag a great little spot that's all your own on the beach.

Paleokastritsa
Award with the coveted
Blue Flag, Paleokastritsa beach is among the most beloved on Corfu island. Its natural beauty knows no bounds, what with the gradient turquoise to emerald waters, its white sandy shoreline, the lush greeneries that surround the coast, and more! Just one look at it and you won't help but want to take a picture and post it on Instagram. Paleokastritsa beach even offers great views of nearby islands, providing a great backdrop for a fun day at the beach. Though it tends to get busy at times, it's a small price to pay to spend time at an internationally-recognized beach!

Rovina
If you truly want a remote beach in Corfu, one that guarantees absolute serenity, then look no further than Rovina beach. Known for its forested surroundings and emerald waters, this is the type of small shoreline that almost seems disconnected from the rest of the island. And with this in mind, expect that the way to
get here won't be that easy. Nevertheless, all your efforts to reach Rovina beach won't be in vain. It's on this incredibly beautiful beach where you can really feel like you're the only people in the world. What's not to love?

Mirtiotissa
Finally, there's Mirtiotissa beach. This particular coastline is what many would call a 'wild beach,' meaning that it's a largely undiscovered and underdeveloped shoreline. You won't find any establishment, resort, and the like near the coast. In fact, it's highly likely that the discovery of this very beach might have been an accident and word-of-mouth contributed to its meager popularity. Nevertheless, for those who truly want to escape the rest of the world, this is the best place to do just that in Corfu. When you go here, you'll truly feel disconnected from everyone and everything else. You'll have nothing but sand, sea, and serenity!
