Car-Free Sunday (February 6)
It's no secret that Paris is among the most populated and most crowded cities in the world. As a result, because of the need for many vehicles here, the car pollution in the French capital can be a little bit too much. So, to counter this and to avoid its possible harmful effects on the environment, the city of Paris has introduced car-free Sundays. Starting February 6, 2022, the city will ban vehicles on the streets every first Sunday of each month. With the emergency ambulances and police cars as the only exceptions, most people will have to rely on
public transport to get around on that day.
