It's not fair to consider Whistler as a one-note city. Sure, the ski town has gained prominence thanks to its many winter sports, but those aren't the only things to expect here. Of course, you probably went here just to have some winter fun, but if you're
not into skiing, snowboarding, and the like, it doesn't mean this place isn't for you. There's a lot to do in Whistler such as dipping in a hot spring, playing golf, kayaking, and even swimming, among many others. So even when you only have one day to spend here, your schedule will be jam-packed!
Dip in a Hot Spring
Apart from all the skiing, snowboarding, and the like, Whistler is actually quite famous for
its hot springs. The town offers both natural and man-made thermal baths, all to help you escape the cold and rejuvenate. In fact, the hot springs here are just so relaxing that you'll likely want to spend the entire day just dipping and soaking. Some places, like the
Scandinave Spa Whistler, are so luxurious that you won't mind having to pay a lot just for a dip. Meanwhile, a spot like Meagre Creek is great for when you want to escape the rest of the world.

Play Golf
Golf is a calm and relaxing sport that, weirdly enough, is actually quite common here in Whistler. For a city known for adrenaline-pumping winter sports, playing golf is probably the last thing you can expect here. But in truth, the town is full of them! There are many incredible golf courses throughout the
different neighborhoods. Some are so big that you'd spend your entire day in Whistler just playing golf. And you know what? That's not such a bad idea! Especially when you see the scenic views and breathe in the fresh air around you.
