A new season calls for new fun. Even though September is technically the start of autumn, the new season doesn't come into full swing until October. And you can bet that this month will have a lot in store! From holidays to seasonal festivals, spending October in Paris is always exciting. Of course, this year is no different. October 2022 is looking to be an eventful month in Paris. There’s Nuit Blanche, the Wine Harvest Festival in Montmartre, and Halloween at Le Grand Rex, to name a few. Just because the weather is cooler now, it doesn't mean that the French capital gets any less busy.
International Artists Live in Paris
As usual, international artists are flocking to Paris. They include the French capital as part of their world tours or their specifically want to perform live in this bustling metropolis. In any case, fans of some of the most famous acts in the world have a few concerts to look forward to. There's the iconic boyband, the Backstreet Boys, live at AccorHotels Arena on October 8. Three days later, on October 11, Grammy Award-winning rockstar Sting will perform at the very same venue. And later on, from October 21 to 22, bestselling rapper and songwriter Kendrick Lamar will set the stage ablaze. He will also perform live at the AccorHotels Arena.
Nuit Blanche (October 1 to 2)
The first night of October 2022 in Paris is set to be one of its most exciting. Why? Because it's
Nuit Blanche! Translated to 'Sleepless Night,' it's an annual event where the entire city of Paris, including all
its different neighborhoods, will stay up all night and have a ball. There will be concerts, parties, soirees, galas, and more. Even the city's most famous museums will stay open until the early hours of the very next day. That alone should tell you that this is an event you shouldn't miss! It will start in the early evening of October 1 and will end around the early morning of October 2.
Halloween Festival at Disneyland Paris (Starts on October 1)
Halloween may be on October 31 but here in Disneyland Paris, it starts on the very first day of the month! Starting October 1, 2022, the entire theme park will hold its annual Halloween celebration! Gone are the pretty princess, adorable critters, and other famous characters from your favorite
Disney films. The villains will now take over Disneyland Paris, spreading all sorts of mischief across the land. Though there will still be the daily parades and all the rides will remain open, it's going to be a different kind of theme park all month long.
Wine Harvest Festival (October 5 to 9)

Montmartre is the place to be here in Paris! It's on this very weekend that the famous district will host its annual Wine Harvest Festival. One of the biggest events in Paris, it's all about locally made wine and the process behind it. Of course, drinking bottles of the stuff is the best part, but you can also stomp on grapes, watch the parade full of folk music, and more! Beyond just enjoying the fine wine, you'll also get to learn its history, how it's made, and its significance in Paris and beyond.
Jazz sur Seine (October 7 to 22)
As if Paris hasn't had enough of jazz, the Jazz sur Seine is set to fill the French capital with the snazziest beats around. It's an annual music festival that the Paris Jazz Club Association holds every year, all to highlight this amazing genre. It's also among the biggest events of its kind, complete with a whopping 150+ concerts and performances in over 20 nightclubs in Paris. Practically
all 20 arrondissements won't escape jazz during the festival, which is set to take place from October 7 to 22, 2022. Are you ready for it?
Paris Motor Show (October 17 to 22)
If you're into automobiles, you won't want to miss the iconic Paris Motor Show. Set in the Porte de Versailles Convention Center, it's a showcase of the best of the best in luxury cars. All of the biggest brands will be there—BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi, Ferrari, and more! Around 250 of them will present their latest models and technologies, laying down the future automobile and luxury transportation for all the world to see. The event only takes place every two years and since 2020 was the year of the Covid-19 pandemic, this upcoming 2022 edition will be the first in four years!

Halloween at Le Grand Rex (October 31)
