The Willaston Bar

The Silo Hotel at the V&A Waterfront, The Willaston Bar is definitely one to check out. Firstly, though it's located on the sixth floor of the hotel, it's still high enough that you can enjoy great views as you sip your drinks. You almost don't know which time that's best to go here. In the afternoon, the sights are much clearer & the sun much brighter. But at night, the contrast between the twinkling stars above and the city lights is quite extraordinary too. As for what to drink here, you won't go wrong with Rémy Martin's Louis XIII cognac!

The House of Machines
Craving some craft beer? Then look no further than The House of Machines that's also in the city center of Cape Town. Firstly, the place is a bike bar, often the hang-out of many bikers in the city. The crowd here tends to get a little rough at times, but for the most part, they're well-behaved. The door even boasts a “Don’t Be A D*CK” sign, both as a joke and as a serious warning that whoever causes trouble gets thrown out. And of course, the beers here are spectacular. It's not exactly a nightclub, per se, but it's pretty near! The energy here is always so wild, with people dancing, drinking, and having a good time!
