Who could ever forget how Blackpink set the stage ablaze in their custom Dolce & Gabbana looks? Or Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio's “Cowboy Barbie” moment? Even actress Zoey Deutch couldn't help but turn heads in her H&M suit. These and more were the best fashion moments of Coachella 2023. There's no doubt that they've set the trends for this summer!
BlackPink in Dolce & Gabbana
It's only natural to start this list with the biggest headliner for
Coachella 2023, the record-breaking K-Pop girl group, BlackPink. Over the years, this fierce foursome has taken the music industry by storm, not to mention the fashion industry too. So it's no surprise that they're the first K-Pop act to headline this iconic music festival. And they did so in stunning Dolce & Gabbana looks! In their signature black and pink color motif, their stage costumes brought out the major runway trends of the past few years. It was Y2K meets 2023 in the chicest and most show-stopping way!

Sofi Tukker in Dolce & Gabbana
Also in Dolce & Gabbana on stage was Sofi Tukker, the Florida-born music duo known for such hits as “Purple Hat”, “Drinkee”, and “Best Friend”. But while BlackPink had their Italian design threads rendered in their signature color scheme, the duo's outfits had that Sicilian vibrancy that Dolce & Gabbana was known for. Sophie, in her sexy bustier top and high-waisted pants co-ords, and Tukker, in his distressed grunge-like hoodie and jeans combo, stole everyone's attention while they were on stage. They themselves looked as colorful as you'd expect from Coachella!

Becky G
“Britney meets Barbie” was Becky G's energy as she took to the stage at Coachella 2023. The Latin pop superstar came out in a scene-stealing bedazzled bra, low-rise cargo pants that gave a peek of her matching bedazzled panty, and a cowboy hat. By these elements alone, you'd think this was a typical outfit for a pop star. But what really gave her look its edge is the monochrome treatment in its coloring. Be it in striking indigo or popping hot pink, Becky G looked like an absolute doll on stage. She would've fit right in in the upcoming Greta Gerwig-directed “Barbie” movie, that's for sure!

Alessandra Ambrosio
Speaking of the Barbiecore trend, Brazilian model and former Victoria's Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio was definitely channeling the doll in her first look for Coachella 2023. She wore a psychedelic-printed cropped top, figure-hugging pants with fringes, a studded cowboy hat, and a pink feathered shawl. Complete with her rose-tinted sunglasses, “fabulous” doesn't even begin to describe how she looked. In many ways, she looked better than she did during her Victoria's Secret Angel days. French lingerie on the runway. Hers was definitely among the brightest and most flamboyant outfits on the first day of the festival.

Irina Shayk in Rat & Boa
In her svelte Rat & Boa black ruffled gown, you'd swear Russian supermodel Irina Shayk was on the red carpet at the
Canned Film Festival instead of Coachella 2023. Floor-length pieces aren't exactly common in this music festival. In Coachella, the shorter the better. But Shayk definitely pulled it off. Channeling Goth goddess realness, she looked bewitching in her all-black ensemble. Especially since she paired her look with a bright red lip. With Italian designer Riccardo Tisci in her arm, Shayk added a tinge of European elegance and eccentricity to this American event.

Teyana Taylor
Do you know who else arrived at Coachella in an all-black outfit? Teyana Taylor. But while Shayk had a goth thing going on, Taylor was pure sex dominatrix all the way. At Revolve's Coachella party, the singer and actress wore what eventually became the it-pairing of the festival: a bra top and cargo pants. But while others had theirs in bright colors and quirky patterns, Taylor was decked out in all black and looked as sinfully sexy as ever. Her body was highlighted just right, showing more than enough skin to prove that despite her age, she still has it going on!

Justine Skye in Revolve
Singer Justine Skye also attended Revolve party at Coachella 2023 in one of the brand's signature neon tube dresses. Paired with matching platform flip-flops, she wore a quintessential summer look that many others could wear. Some would say that it's basic, but for the most part, she embodied casual summer style at its finest. The pop of neon acid green can be seen from a mile away and looks amazing against her dark skin tone. Though her overall look is simple, it was the perfect example of how minimalist style can still make quite an impact.

Amelia Gray Hamlin
For a slightly different flavor, Amelia Gray Hamlin also went to Coachella in a decided grunge look. She paired a midriff-baring cropped oversized black tee with a low-rise pair of boyfriend jeans with part of her underwear peeping out. It's a provocative look, not just with how much skin she exposed, but how faithful it is to the grunge aesthetic of the late 90s and early 2000s. It was a slightly surprising and somewhat different take on the Y2K style that has dominated the runways and streetwear trends for a couple of years now.

Zoey Deutch in H&M
A suit isn't exactly what many would consider a
Coachella fashion staple. Daisy Duke shorts and cropped tops, sure, but a full-blown suit? Well, that's what actress Zoey Deutch wore at this year's Coachella and she never looked better! Though she has donned a good many memorable red carpet looks over the years, it's not far-fetched to say that she looked her sexiest in her relaxed H&M suit. By pairing her off-white suit with a black bra top (trend alert!) and trainers, she added a more casual spin to her otherwise mature look. A great sartorial move indeed!
