Tomorrowland is an out-of-this-world experience any EDM fan should experience at least once. Ever since its first edition back in 2005, music festivals have never been the same again. The sets, the stages, the music—practically everything about Tomorrowland is electrifying. It's easy to get caught up in the madness and magic of it all. As if the festival is one huge trip! And if you're the kind who enjoys having fun, getting wild, and dancing to the best EDM artists around, Tomorrowland is for you. Here's why you ought to go to this event at least once in your life.
A Unique Music Festival
For one thing, the Tomorrowland music festival is a unique event. It's easy to compare it to the likes of Coachella and Glastonbury, two music festivals that not only have a lot more history than Tomorrowland, but arguably a lot more prestige too. These two annual events commonly invite the hottest musical acts of the moment, as compared to Tomorrowland, which only focuses on EDM. But then, that's what makes the latter one of a kind. By focusing on just one genre, it can invite both the biggest artists and up-and-coming names to take part. Of course, there are its stunning, often
Disney movie-like stages too!
A Transcendent Experience
Without a doubt, going to Tomorrowland is a transcendent experience. It's euphoric and enchanting at the same time. When you combine the sickest EDM artists with the event's grandest and most awe-inspiring stages, it's as if you're on an acid trip. There are also incredible light shows that accompany the DJ sets. When those hit hard, you'll feel as if your soul going out of your body! The sensation is so riveting, it's practically addictive. Hence, there are many people from around the world who have made it their summer tradition to go to Tomorrowland year after year.

The Best EDM in The World
Speaking of EDM, only the best of the best get to perform here. In its first edition alone, the likes of Armin van Buuren, Push (M.I.K.E.), and Yves Deruyter performed. And over the years, big names like Steve Aoki, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Skrillex, Avicci, The Chainsmokers, and Amelie Lens have all performed here. Some of them even invited other non-EDM artists to perform their hit collabs. Most notably, popstar Bebe Rexha went on stage back in 2019. Rapper ASAP Rocky was also slated to perform that year but later canceled following his controversial arrest in Sweden.
Other-Worldly Stages
No conversation about why you should go to Tomorrowland at least once is complete without mentioning its spectacular stages. “Other-worldly” doesn't even begin to describe their majesty. Tomorrowland goes above and beyond in building a world full of fantasy, magic, and of course, incredible music. Who could ever forget about the “Under the Sea” theme back in 2018? It's as if you took a dive from a picturesque
Mediterranean island and discovered its underwater magic down below. The 2012 storybook-themed stage has also stood the test of time. Its whimsical appeal harkens back to the magic of the “Harry Potter” or even “Lord of The Rings” movies.

Escape to DreamVille
The dreaminess of Tomorrowland doesn't just stop with its stages. The festival also sets up “Dreamville” year after year. This is somewhat of a campsite that serves as the accommodations for the fans who traveled all the way to Boom, Belgium for Tomorrowland. And these aren't your ordinary accommodations either! Though they're not exactly
Belgian luxury homes, they're just as magical. Themed after fairytale settings, their novel appeal adds Tomorrowland's signature whimsy even after the performances. Admittedly, however, these are still camping tents. So if you're not comfortable with this sort of accommodation, you're better off renting a place nearby.
Cool and Cooky Costumes
The fantasy of Tomorrowland is so intense that even the fans want to get into it too. And some really do! If you go to Tomorrowland this year or any other year, you'll see how wild some of the attendees can get. They'd attend this crowded event dressed up in costumes. Many would go the usual sexy route while others bring on the full fantasy. The latter even look like they were paid by Tomorrowland to show up in their colorful garb. As if they're performers part of the stage. It's this type of dedication that makes music festivals so much fun!

Meeting People From Around The World
Tomorrowland is practically a congregation of the UN. Why? Because so many people from all around the world go to the event. Not only that, but they proudly show off their patriotism too. If you've watched clips of the music festival online, you'll see that its audience is often peppered with national flags. People proudly wave them, as if to say that their countries are proud to be there. Or perhaps they're just showing their own national pride. Either way, going to Tomorrowland allows you to meet all sorts of people from different countries around the globe. What's not to love?
Eat Belgian Cuisine
Finally, going to Tomorrowland is also an opportunity to try Belgian cuisine. Yes, it's pretty odd to only go to this iconic music festival just to try Belgian dishes. There are plenty of great
restaurants in Brussels, Antwerp, and more, after all. But still, you can't deny that this is a huge draw for a lot of people. Especially foodies who are also fans of EDM. Here, they get to enjoy the best of both worlds. They can dance to the sets of their favorite EDM artists as they bite into some Moules-Frites, Chicons au gratin, or even some classic Belgian waffles too.
