It's finally the last quarter of 2023. The past year has been quite a whirlwind, hasn't it? In
Paris alone, there have been numerous concerts, festivals, holiday celebrations, and more. Of course, October 2023 will be no different. The French capital will be as busy as ever next month. Nuit Blanche (October 7)
As far as annual events and
holidays in France are concerned, October is mostly known for Halloween. At least, that's what the rest of the world thinks. But for Parisians, October also means they'd get to enjoy
Nuit Blanche (White Night) again. On this day, which starts from the 7th and goes all the way to the earliest hours of the 8th, the City of Lights remains as bright as ever all night long. The museums and other beloved attractions stay open (some of which are even free for entry) and parties are held in various parts of the metropolis. Usually, however, the hottest spots are in Le Marais, northeast Paris, and western Paris.

With such varied events to look forward to, let's not forget that Paris remains an art capital through and through. Of course, this means that the city will host a few art-centric events next month too. The most famous of which is its annual Salon d'Automne (Fall Art Show). This exhibition has been a beloved Parisian tradition since 1903, a brainchild of legendary artists Cezanne, Matisse, Roualt, Guimard, and more. From then until now, Salon d'Automne has served as the best event to introduce up-and-coming artists to the larger art world. This year, from the 27th to the 30th, a total of 890 artists from around the world will participate.
