Car-Free Sundays (Begins on March 5)
It's a good thing that Car-Free Sundays will begin on March 5th in Paris. Springtime is set to begin later next month and these Sundays will help cleanse the air just in time for the season. As its name says, Car-Free Sundays prohibit private vehicles on various streets and
neighborhoods in Paris. It's a way to help lessen pollution in an already-condensed metropolis. At the same time, it also helps encourage locals to navigate public transport. You can expect Car-Free Sundays to be more present in the first four arrondissements of the city.

Foire du Trône (Begins on March 22)
Foire du Trône has been an event that Paris has been holding since Medieval times when the country was still under a monarch. The name alone is translated as the “Throne Fair” and was a way for people to enjoy themselves under the reign of King Lothair in the 10th century. From a typical fun fair, it soon grew to include carnival stalls, theme park rides, and more. Even when France is no longer under a king, the event remains and continues to offer some exciting springtime fun for families, couples, and friends alike.
