Can you feel it?
Paris is already abuzz with the upcoming Summer 2024 Olympics and it's not even July yet! While there's no denying that the Paris 2024 Olympics is the most hotly-anticipated, the French capital still has a lot of events in store this July 2024. Huge artists like Nicki Minaj and Olivia Rodrigo will perform here live, for instance.
Nuit Blanche (White Night) is set to be an exciting time too! And of course, you can't miss Fête de la Musique to welcome the summer season. Expect this and more in Paris this June 2024.
International Artists Live in Paris

Emerging pop singer Olivia Rodrigo will take to the same stage on June 14 & 15, Green Day will be on June 18, and Doja Cat will follow on June 21st. Meanwhile, Sheryl Crow will perform live at L'Olympia in the
9th arrondissement on June 27 instead.
Nuit Blanche (June 1)

Nuit Blanche (White Night), an all-night festival of art, music, and more. Get lost in all the parties, exhibitions, and performances staged throughout various
neighborhoods of Paris. The “City of Lights” will shine and sparkle all night long as the city's emerging artists and established names show their best works for all the world to see. And the best part? Everything is free? Most of the
Nuit Blanche events are free of charge, allowing everyone to join in on all the fabulous revelries!
Rare Books & Graphic Arts Fair (June 14 to 16)
Paris will be full of fun fairs and festivals this June 2024. One of which is the
Salon du Livre Rare & des Arts Graphiques or Rare Books & Graphic Arts Fair, which will be held on the month's second weekend, June 14 to 16. Just as its name says, it's an exciting book fair that will highlight published works from over 50 countries. Expect around 4,000 writers to display and talk about their works, not to mention do signings, reading sessions, workshops, and more. Any self-professed bibliophile will want to go here next month!
Fête de la Musique (June 21)
While the city will go all sporty in July for the
Paris 2024 Olympics, June is set to be a more musical month instead. Apart from the barrage of international artists performing live next month, the city will also host its annual Fête de la Musique on June 21. This isn't your ordinary music festival, mind you! Instead of the typical concert-like event, Fête de la Musique will be more like a huge street party where musicians, upcoming artists, and more will perform for all the world to see (and hear!). From folk music to rock & roll, get lost in the musical fancy of Paris this summer!
Chopin Festival (Begins on June 22)
Are you more of a classical music fan than anything else? Then you'll want to head on over to the
16th arrondissement's Bois de Boulogne for its annual Chopin Festival. Parc de Bagatelle's enchanting Orangerie will put on various performances of Chopin's most famous and most original works beginning on June 22. This series of concerts will enchant anyone lucky enough to visit the palatial Orangerie and its magical rose garden, beautiful Chinese pagoda, and more. If you miss the first day, there's no need to worry. The performances will go on until July 7.
Festivals du Parc Floral (Begins on June 26)
From one festival in a park to the next, you also shouldn't miss the Festivals du Parc Floral, which will begin on June 26. Do take note that this isn't just one festival, but a series of three events rolled into one In Parc Floral (Paris Botanical Garden) in Bois de Vincennes. The first is the Paris Jazz Festival, a fabulous display of the snazzy genre. The second is “Classic in Green,” highlighting classical music amidst the park's fantastical flora. And finally, there's the “Pestacles,” a series of children's concerts for little ones aged four and up.
Summer Sales (Begins on June 26)
If there's one thing you'll want to do in Paris no matter the time of year, it's shopping. The fashion capital of the world is as much a retail mecca as it is an authoritative figure in style. And beginning on June 26, the city's best stores will start their summer sales! Go to the famous luxury boutiques and
best department stores in Paris to get your hands on last season's best pieces at lower prices. Discounts on designer goods will have the entire city shopping like crazy, making for a season-long spree you wouldn't want to miss!
La Défense Jazz Festival (June 26 to 30)
Located at the heart of the city's business district, La Défense Esplanade will host its annual jazz festival from June 26 to 30, 2024. All though the area is to the
Paris Suburbs, it's an event worth checking out for its music alone. Several of the city's best musicians will congregate at La Défense Esplanade and perform for free in the afternoons. Performances typically run from 17:00 (5:00) pm to 21:00 (7:00) pm, perfect for taking a break and enjoying some fabulous music. While you're there, stop by the many cafes and bars that line the esplanade and get yourself an apéritif to go with the jazz!
Pride Parade (June 29)
June is the worst time to stay cooped up in your
luxury apartment in Paris, especially if you're queer. Why? Because it's Pride Month! It's the one month in the year when the world highlights the LGBTQ+ community, including the French capital.
Celebrate Pride Month in Paris by joining its annual Pride Parade this June 29, 2024. The event will start at around 14:00 (2:00) pm and will likely end at around 18:00 (6:00) pm on Place de République. Afterward, there will be speeches, musical performances, and more that will show love and support for the city's queer community. What's not to love?
