The
Cannes Film Festival 2024 just finished and as always, it was a glamorous affair. Celebrities, supermodels, and influencers alike put out all the stops in showing off their best looks on the red carpet. Who could ever forget Anya Taylor Joy, star of “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” looking like a princess in Dior? Or how Naomi Campbell proved just how much of an ageless beauty she is in Chanel? Elle Fanning also looked as angelic as ever in custom Gucci, while model Coco Rocha brought her avant-garde A-game in Cheney Chan couture. What was your best red carpet moment this past Cannes Film Festival 2024?
Anya Taylor-Joy in Christian Dior
Anya Taylor-Joy was one of the many stars who shone the brightest this last Cannes Film Festival 2024. Her new movie, “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” premiered during the event, one of the most hotly anticipated movies of the year, let alone in the festival. So it was only natural the Argentinian-British actress looked like a princess in Christian Dior. Paired with equally shimmering Tiffany & Co. jewelry, Taylor-Joy evoked the memories of Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly. Even more so since he put her hair up in an elegant but. She was pure 1950's movie star-turned-princess. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?

Elle Fanning in Gucci
Speaking of looking like a princess on the red carpet, none can do that better than Elle Fanning. A beloved
Cannes Film Festival style icon, her best fashion moments have come from this famous event. This 2024 is no different. Stepping out in a pleated pale yellow gown, Fanning looked absolutely angelic. She has long served princess and fairy realness on the red carpet, but this time, she was more like an angel than anything else. Her billowing cape sleeves were her wings, wafting in the wind as if she descended on that red carpet like the Star of Bethlehem.

Hunter Schafer in Armani Privé
Like Anya Taylor-Joy, Hunter Schafer also had a much-anticipated film premiere this past Cannes Film Festival 2024. She stars in “Kinds of Kindness” by Yorgos Lanthimos, the Greek director's latest movie. Taking on the Cannes red carpet for the first time, Schafer exuded regality in her shimmering pale blue Armani Privé gown. Her look was classic even though it's a fairly new silhouette. Paired with her signature blonde bun and a stunning Chopard sapphire necklace, she was undoubtedly one of the most expensive-looking stars on that red carpet!

Simone Ashley in Stella McCartney
It's always the unconventional looks that steal focus on the red carpet. Take British actress, Simone Ashley, for example. While other celebrities sported big ball gowns or sleek columns, the “Bridgerton” star dared to wear a Stella McCartney mini with a big train. The former showed off her beautiful legs while the latter still gave the dress a red carpet-ready edge. Paired with sparkling Chaumet jewelry, Ashley had one of the most unique looks in the entire festival. Some may have found it polarizing with how different it is, but there was no denying that she looked divine out there!

Demi Moore in Schiaparelli
Demi Moore may be a red carpet veteran but this year marked her first time on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet. And she did not disappoint! Her structured Schiaparelli
haute couture gown was arguably the most memorable among her show-stopping looks in the festival. Paired with her raven long locks and million-watt smile, Moore exemplified ageless beauty at the premiere of her latest film, “The Substance.” The 61-year-old actress has been enjoying something of a comeback recently and her recent Cannes appearances proved she's still every bit a real Hollywood star.

Naomi Campbell in Chanel
If there's someone who truly defines ageless beauty, it's supermodel supreme, Naomi Campbell. At 54 years old, the British icon is still rocking both runways and red carpets, looking every inch the muse that she was back in her 90s heyday. At the 77th Cannes Film Festival, superstar stylist Law Roach dressed her in a sparking black Chanel, serving French glamour at the
French Riviera. Not only did she stun on the red carpet, but she also proved that even a centuries-old
haute couture house like Chanel can still bring on a viral fashion moment.

Coco Rocha in Cheney Chan Couture
You can always trust Coco Rocha to bring on the drama, whether she's on the runway or the red carpet. At Cannes this year, the Canadian supermodel turned heads with her structured Cheney Chan Couture dress. She looked like a giant walking calla lily on the red carpet, sparkling with all the embellishments and diamonds that covered her. The pale white glow of her gown also popped out against the bright crimson of the carpet, helping her stand out more against the other glamorous stars at the event. And naturally, she worked the dress like the supermodel that she is!

Pritika Swarup in Zuhair Murad
The difference between the Cannes Film Festival and other high-profile red carpet events, like the Oscars or Met Gala, is that foreign celebrities also get to join the red carpet game. While the others are more reserved for Hollywood celebrities, Cannes is more welcoming to global superstars beyond Tinsel Town. And this year, one of the major stand-outs was model and beauty mogul, Pritika Swaru. In her embellished sari-like Zuhair Murad gown, she exemplified Indian beauty at its finest. Not only did she show off her culture for all the world to see, but she got to look like a million bucks while doing it!

Vicky Krieps in Chanel
Finally, there's Luxembourgish-German actress Vicky Krieps. She wore a black and white floor-length Chanel dress, complete with the brand's signature white collar and black pussycat bow. Her casual-looking piece, which would have looked right at home in a
Parisian luxury apartment as it did on the red carpet, was a nice and even somewhat refreshing contrast to the glittering gowns and sexy slits other celebrities wore. Some may not even like it, claiming it was too boring and whatnot, but there's no doubt she was a scene-stealer at the event. She combined both Paris and Berlin styles, exuding a refined European sensibility like no one else can!
