History of ENSCI
École Nationale Supérieure de Creation Industrielle plays a vital role in both the fashion industry and in France as a whole. The country's Minister of Culture and Ministry of Economics and Finance partnered and established the school in 1982. Both government entities still jointly govern the institution, teaching and training future designers. Naturally, that includes fashion designers too. For years, ENSCI has served as the only national school in
Paris devoted to industrial creation and design, offering post-graduate programs for those eligible to further their education in design fields. This is why it's also a fairly exclusive institution.

ENSCI's Best Programs and Courses
ENSCI - Les Ateliers only offers master's degree programs, which means these are the most advanced courses you'll ever get to take in your academic career. In terms of fashion, the school only offers a Textile Designer program, which encompasses a wide variety of subjects relating to textiles. While it does have some design courses, the program leans more on the scientific and research side of the craft. It stresses the importance of ample knowledge of textiles and how to apply them in design.

ENSCI's Prerequisites
Since ENSCI - Les Ateliers only offers master's degree programs, the school requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in related fields. It will also help if you have professional experience too, whether it's an internship in connection with your degree or as part of your professional career. And since it's an international school in Paris too, language proficiency is also required. The school requires at least an A2 level proficiency in French and a B1 level proficiency in English. It's important to note that most classes are taught in French.
How Much Does It Cost to Study in ENSCI?
ENSCI - Les Ateliers is surprisingly one of the more affordable schools in Paris. No matter your program, it will only cost you about €438.00 annually. Do take note that this is just for your enrollment. Some courses will require you to have lessons, projects, and the like materials. On top of that, you'll also have to deal with the high living costs in Paris, which tend to range from €1,200.00 to €1,300.00 per month. You can ask for financial aid from the school, but they only cover a little of your costs in the city.
