Milan Fashion Week is perhaps the busiest time in Milan. Since the entire city is practically devoted to the fashion industry, the hustle and bustle of this event is almost unparalleled. Naturally, it's an exclusive event that you can't get into unless you work in fashion or you're rich enough to buy the clothes off the runway. But what if you're neither? Can you still get into all the Fashion Week craziness? Well, your best bet is to dine in the places where the fashion set eats. Designers, fashion editors, celebrities, and more eat in hotspots like La Specialità, Da Giacomo, Bistro Aimo e Nadia, and more.
Autem Milano
It's no surprise that the fashion set loves going to Autem when they're in Milan. Located on Via Serviliano Lattuada in the central Porta Romana district, Luca Natalini's chic hotspot serves great food at great prices. For €100.00 alone—which isn't exactly low but not that expensive either—you can indulge in a delicious entrée, four savory courses, and two desserts too. That would already be enough when every dish is made with only the freshest and most authentic ingredients possible. “It's the ingredients that design the menu, not the Chef,” says Natalini, and this gives a good idea of his own culinary excellence too.

Bistro Aimo e Nadia
Get lost in the chic quirkiness of Bistro Aimo e Nadia on Via Matteo Bandello. Located in the fairly quiet San Vittore
neighborhood in Milan. The colorful restaurant serves as a nice, lively, and loud (in every sense of the word) contrast to the more somber area. The place's rich tones were co-designed by the fashion house Etro, no less! And the food doesn't taste bad either! From Piedmontese beef tartare and Egg Parmigiana to homemade Tortelli and Spaghettone Pasta, this bistro is all about authentic Italian cuisine at its finest. It's a great escape from all the hoopla that Milan Fashion Week often brings to the city.

Ceresio 7
The DSquared2-owned Ceresio 7—located in the brand's headquarters, no less—unsurprisingly draws in the fashion crowd whether it's Milan Fashion Week or not. It's a great hangout, after all, complete with an upscale restaurant, a cool bar, and even a rooftop pool. But for a quick bite in between shows, the restaurant will do. Here, you can enjoy some
Puttanesca—style spaghetti with prawn, live, and olive tartare. Its Angus with green pepper, on the other hand, has a unique zest to it thanks to the cheese and spring onion flavor. And for dessert, some lemon cheese tart is the perfect treat.

Da Giacomo
Since it's only a hop and a skip away from the iconic Duomo di Milano, it's also no surprise that fashion elites love going to Da Giacomo on Via Pasquale Sottocorno Angolo. The city center is often where all the action happens during Milan Fashion Week, from shows and presentations to soirees and parties. So when it's time for lunch or dinner, escaping to this old-school trattoria is easy. Even more so since its menu is filled with classic Italian dishes. You can’t fault models for forsaking their diet in the middle of Fashion Week when they can eat
Spaghetti alle vongole veraci (Spaghetti with clams) or
Linguine all'astice (Linguine with lobster and cherry tomato sauce)!

La Specialità
What exactly is the specialty of La Specialità? Pizza, of course! Milan-born fashion influencer Chiara Ferragni, herself a fixture of the front row during Fashion Week, even claims that it’s the best pizzeria in Milan. That ought to be enough to convince you to check this place out! Located on Via Pietro Calvi, you'll be eating slice after slice of their exceptional pizza. The cheese they use is always so flavorful, while the meat is always so succulent. Paired with glasses upon glasses of the finest red wines, you can kiss your Fashion Week diet goodbye here!

LùBar
Romance reigns supreme in LùBar on Via Palestro. With its botanical bliss-filled classic cafe ambiance—or its sunny terrace area, if you wish—this is perhaps the perfect date spot in Milan. You almost wish the fashion set didn't know about it so that they wouldn't crowd the hotspot during Fashion Week. But alas, the place is owned by fashion designer Luisa Beccharia, so naturally they know about it. They also love going here for the fine food. Its Mediterranean menu never fails to draw in the fashion elite, from the homemade
Arancini (fried risotto) to the vintage bottles of wine.

Calocero is among the chicest restaurants in the city, so much so that it gets more than a bit bustling during Milan Fashion Week.
