Eurécole prides itself a prestigious bilingual international school in Paris. Teaching in both English and French, the independent day school serves as the perfect place for international students to gain and benefit from high-quality education. Perhaps what's so great about Eurécole is that it emphasizes the importance of global understanding and embracing diversity among its own international student body. Here, little kids, from kindergarten to Middle School, can learn all about the world while enjoying the peace, beauty, and culture of the French capital. There's no other school, whether public or private, local or international, quite like it.

History of Eurécole

Child psychologist Madame Duval, who also served as a principal of a bilingual school, established Eurécole in 1989. Devoted to innovating child education, she opened the school as a way to develop a new approach to child education. For one thing, Eurécole became one of the first trilingual international schools in Paris. English is the school's base language, but students can choose to go for German or French classes upon reaching the higher academic levels. This new and exciting way of educating the young helped the school gain prominence over the years.

What is Eurécole's Campus Like?

Eurécole has two campuses in central Paris. The first is on Rue de Lubeck in the 16th arrondissement, which houses the school's kindergarten and primary school. Much like other educational institutions in the city, it's limited to just a grand building at the heart of the metropolis. The second is on Rue du Mont-Dore in the 17th arrondissement, which is also a big building that houses the middle school. Though they're not exactly small campuses, these buildings don't have the outdoor spaces that schools in the outskirts of Paris boast.

The Eurécole Student Body

Eurécole may seem like it has limited campuses, but in truth, they're just right for its student body. The private school welcomes about 300 enrollees per year, both boys and girls. Eurécole popularity and unique trilingual approach never fail to draw in parents looking for a school for their kids, especially foreign families who have moved to Paris. As such, Eurécole also enjoys a diverse student body, with children coming from different countries around the world. At the same time, the number is just right to fit enough students in each class.

What is Eurécole's Curriculum?

True to Madame Duval's core beliefs, Eurécole follows an Adapted Curriculum. This allows the teachers and instructors to focus more on each student's strengths, weaknesses, and interests. Again, this plays into the school's relatively limited student body and campus. With fewer kids compared to other international schools in Paris, it's easier for the staff to be more hands-on with educating each student. Moreover, this more personal approach will also make the kids feel more comfortable in their teacher's guidance. Overall, Eurécole is the perfect school to help kids discover their true potential.

How Much Does It Cost to Study in Eurécole?

Eurécole is perhaps among the most affordable international schools in Paris. While other educational institutions of its kind impose high tuition fees that can almost rival those of less prominent colleges or even the various art and fashion schools in Paris, Eurécole's are much lower. But that doesn't mean it's cheap either! Eurécole costs around €11,070.00 to €11,860.00 each year. The tuition fee rarely changes, even as your kid ascends from one academic level to another. And while it's far from the most expensive, this is still a fairly high price in terms of education in Paris.

Where is Eurécole in Paris?

As already mentioned, Eurécole has two campuses in the central neighborhoods of Paris. Its primary school is on Rue de Lubeck in the 16th arrondissement while its middle school is on Rue du Mont-Dore in the 17th arrondissement. Not only are these two of the lesser-known arrondissements, but they're also among the most affluent. The 16th arrondissement, in particular, is perhaps the wealthiest area in central Paris. This is where you'll find upscale restaurants, high-end boutiques, and some of the most luxurious homes in Paris. Ranging from penthouses to full-blown townhouses, you couldn't have asked for a more refined Parisian neighborhood.

Eurécole is a bilingual international school at the heart of Paris. Unlike the city's other prestigious academic institutions for international students, this school is still within the city center, allowing the students to experience the true Paris while they get their education.
