Though it remains a district in the greater London area, Uxbridge is a suburban town in the Hillingdon borough. The area is quite famous as part of the way that leads to Oxford, one of the
top universities near London. But it's also a great suburb on its own. It may not be as busy as the British capital nor is it as green as other London Suburbs, but it's still a chill district with plenty to see and do.

Let's head back to Southwest London for this next one. Worcester Park is a suburban town approximately 10 miles away from Charing Cross. While the rest of the world knows of Wimbledon as one of the world's most famous tennis tournaments, locals know that it's also a great suburb in London. It's an affluent residential area in Southwest London, a least 7 miles away from the city center. It's an elegant district with lots of upscale spots, many of which draw major celebrities when they visit during the tennis competition. At the same time, however, it has its fair share of indie boutiques and hipster cafes, a result of London's bohemian crowd spilling over this part of the city.
