The students come first at
Mossbourne Community Academy. Located in Hackney Downs, it's a co-ed secondary school that has since become one of the most prestigious in the British capital. Despite its name, it has lost its academy status though, but this doesn't make it any less of an amazing educational institution. Overall, Mossbourne Community Academy provides a safe and sophisticated space for students of different backgrounds to learn, grow, and develop together. The school embraces diversity, upholds camaraderie, and embraces globalism in a way that young people can easily understand.

History of Mossbourne Community Academy
The Mossbourne Community Academy is among the newer
top schools in London. While most of the educational institutions in the city can trace their origins to past centuries, this school only opened in 2004. British businessman and philanthropist Sir Clive Bourne founded the school on a site of the former Hackney Downs School. He then commissioned the Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners architectural firm to design the new school buildings, costing him about £19,000,000.00 to complete the school. Upon opening in 2004, Mossbourne Community Academy has since grown to become one of the finest in the city.
What is Mossbourne Community Academy's Campus Like?
It's safe to say that Sir Clive Bourne's £19 million investment to construct Mossbourne Community Academy paid off. The school boasts an expansive campus with modern, symmetric buildings that house the standard school facilities and more. Located in Hackney Downs in the Lower Clapton area of Greater
London, it's a safe and spacious campus for all its students. One of the best things about it is that it has plenty of outdoor space. This allows the students to spend some time outside, especially when it's sunny outside, to play, get fresh air, and expand their studies.

The Mossbourne Community Academy Student Body
Despite how big its campus is, Mossbourne Community Academy's student body isn't all that big. The school welcomes about 1,500 enrollees per year, which includes both new entrants and returning students who have yet to graduate. They're all divided into the academy's eight houses—Becan, Blackman, Bronte, Butler, Malala, Mandela, Milton, and Moore. This allows them to be part of a bigger community, integrate themselves into various groups, and socialize with students of different backgrounds. Part of what has helped Mossbourne Community Academy gain prominence over the years is its diverse student body. The school welcomes students from different countries around the world too.
What is Mossbourne Community Academy's Curriculum?
Unsurprisingly, Mossbourne Community Academy follows the British National Curriculum in its education, across all academic levels. What separates the BNC from all the others is that emphasizes the personal, social, and health education (PSHE) skills, further helping the young students to learn and grow at their own pace. It also helps that the academy tailors its lessons according to the student's needs. Each class has fewer students than the standard, helping the teacher stay more connected and letting them guide the students on a more personal level.
Where is Mossbourne Community Academy in London?
As already mentioned, Mossbourne Community Academy is located in Hackney Downs, a fairly popular district in the Lower Clapton area in Greater London. Famous for its eponymous park, Hackney Downs is a riverside area that maintains a nice balance between the British capital's urban energy and a largely suburban vibe. It's one of the more peaceful
neighborhoods in London, perfect for raising a family. Hence, there are many great schools nearby too. As for finding a place to stay, Hackney Downs has several
luxury homes to rent in London. They also tend to be more affordable than those in other, more central neighborhoods.
