New York City, Maryel School has a pretty extensive history. Maryel itself started in 2004. Celine Cacho, a visionary in Spanish education, founded the institution as a way to highlight and polish each kid's unique gifts and talents. The first school opened in Spain and, over time, has set up various locations throughout the world. This school in New York was among the first ones. The school's board of trustees began exploring the idea of opening a school in the Big Apple as early as 2008. And by 2013, the Maryel School of New York officially opened.

The Maryel School of New York is located in Murray Hill on the east side of Manhattan, one of the more underrated

In its size alone, the institution is more akin to a nursery school instead of a standard international school in New York City.
