History of Palmer Trinity School
Palmer Trinity School is what resulted when the Palmer School (founded in 1972) and the Trinity Episcopal School (founded in 1981) were merged in 1991. The following year, however, in 1992, Hurricane Andrew devastated Florida and most of the school's campus was badly damaged. Nevertheless, the school survived, further expanding, becoming one of the biggest international schools in
Miami. In its early years alone, the school grew from beginning with only 300 students to welcoming about 650 students. By 1999, the school had incorporated wireless laptops in its daily operations and boasted about 50 athletics teams.
