History of International Christian High School
Technically, the International Christian High School began in 1968. But its first iteration wasn't named as such. Instead, the school was known as the Cedar Christian Academy and was run by the Cedar Grove Church. The institution served as the first Christian high school in
Philadelphia and, by 1972, it had already developed into a full K-12 program. Years later, in 1998, the school's name was changed to the “International Christian High School” as a way to establish its own identity separate from its governing bodies at the time. 20 years later, in 2018, the school moved to its current home along Tabor Avenue.
What is International Christian High School's Campus Like?

neighborhood of Philadelphia. it's a fairly big campus with a massive school building, complete with spacious classrooms, well-stocked laboratories, a massive gymnasium, and more. It even has ample outdoor space for students to play, hang out outside, and get some sun. At the same time, it's a safe and secure campus too, thanks in large part to its location in one of the quieter parts of the city. It's still in the city center, but it's not exactly at the heart of Philadelphia's hustle and bustle.

The International Christian High School Student Body
International Christian High School may have a huge campus, but its student body isn't all that big. At least compared to the other top schools in Philadelphia. The school welcomes over 200 students per year, including both new enrollees and those returning who have yet to graduate. The school also stays true to the “International” part of its name by accepting foreign applicants too. About 30% of international students make up its student body, many of whom just
moved to Philadelphia, and the rest of the 70% comprise local American kids who have lived here for a long time.
