History of La Salle University
La Salle University started as La Salle College during the 1860s. Brother Teliow and Archbishop James Wood founded the school in March 1863 as an all-male college in
Philadelphia. Throughout the rest of the 19th century and the early 20th century, the university moved from one location to another, eventually settling down on Olney Avenue in Logan, Philadelphia. The school then closed during World War II as a result of a lack of students, but after the war, it welcomed enough new enrollees that it needed to expand its campus. And in 1970, La Salle University finally welcomed its first female students, fully becoming a co-ed higher educational institution.

As already mentioned, La Salle University is located on Olney Avenue in the Logan
neighborhood of Philadelphia. Despite how historic it is, the campus today is a mix of old and new buildings. College Hall, for example, is the original college campus. Though it has seen many renovations over the years, it has retained its old-world appeal. The Rolan Holroyd Science Center, on the other hand, is more modern and has all the latest technology needed for the academic programs taught here. What do you need to get accepted into La Salle University in Philadelphia? For the basics, they include a filled-up application form, official school transcripts, recommendation letters, and a personal essay. Undergraduates will need to have gotten at least a high school diploma while postgraduates will need to have at least a Bachelor's Degree in any related field.
