History of OneSchool Global Nottingham
The Trent Valley Education Trust established a tutorial center called the Three Shires School in 1995. It served as a supplementary tutorial facility to students of the more prominent Trent College, one of the most prominent schools in
Nottingham. In 2004, the school applied to be independent, even moving to the Focus School Long Eaton Campus in Long Eaton, Derbyshire in 2009. Ten years later, in 2019, Focus Schools was rebranded as OneSchool Global UK, with the campus becoming the OneSchool Global Nottingham campus it is today.
What is OneSchool Global Nottingham's Campus Like?
Though it's considered the OneSchool Global Nottingham campus, it's technically not in Nottingham. The campus is located in Long Eaton, a town in the Derbyshire county. But since it's only seven miles away from
Nottingham's central neighborhoods, it's still widely considered a school from the bigger city. The campus itself, fortunately, is as modern as other OneSchool Global campuses throughout the UK and the rest of the world. While its exterior looks like a classic, old English home, its interior has standard school facilities, including spacious classrooms, art rooms, libraries, and more.

The OneSchool Global Nottingham Student Body
Though OneSchool Global has over 8,500 students throughout its various campuses around the world, the school in Nottingham has a much smaller student body. Today, the school welcomes approximately 100 students per year, including both new enrollees and those returning who have yet to graduate. It's not exactly a stable number as the school admits less than a hundred students in some years and a little more in other years. The number is just right for its campus as it’s one of the smaller schools in Nottingham, though the ages of the students range from 7 years old to 18 years old.
What is OneSchool Global Nottingham's Curriculum?
OneSchool Global takes pride in preparing its students to be ready for life. The school has stressed that it operates differently from the usual “career-ready” approach from other schools in Nottingham and the rest of the UK, emphasizing the holistic development of its students. While it still highlights the importance of academic excellence, it doesn't consider such the end-all and be-all for kids. OneSchool Global maintains a nice balance between encouraging students to study hard for their academics and letting them participate in extracurricular activities. The school sees the benefits of helping children realize their potential in various fields.
