It warns viewers that you may actually lose yourself a little in this beautiful city. Limits you never thought you'd cross will only look like dots once you've gotten past them. The sequel to the highly successful "Velvet" (which is also on Netflix), "Velvet Coleccion" sees the beautiful yet wacky characters from the Gallerias Velvet travel to Barcelona, further proving that this city is a shopper’s paradise. Here, they've opened a new branch of the famous department store in the heart of Catalonia, hoping to charm the people here with their incredible fashions. But, of course, their own respective dramas and intrigues get in the way of business, as usual. This time around. It's Clara Montesinos who's front and center, heading the new Barcelona store while waiting for her on-again-off-again partner Mateo, who’s off somewhere else fulfilling his own career goals.

At times, it's best to look at Barcelona from different points of view. This is especially if you're not a local here yet you want to see the city in a different light. Well, this is what the French-Spanish film "L’auberge Espagnole" offers. A group of international students go to Barcelona during their year abroad and learn more about the city and each other in the process. And they find that, while the city's classic charms are great, it's the people who live and travel here that make it quite the experience!

Who knew the schools in Barcelona could be so fascinating, right? Anyway, the story is all about Merlí, a high school professor, who pushes his students to think outside of the box. Sounds like a familiar plot trope, doesn't it? You could think that, however, this show often pushes the boundaries even further, taking into account the various philosophies that have shaped society to what it is now. The series is yet another representation of how free-thinking and liberated the Catalan capital really is.

The sequel to the highly successful and popular film starring Raven Symone and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, the movie sees the feline-esque girl group travel to the Catalan capital—with so many beautiful shots of its different districts—at a huge shot of international fame. However, the charms and beauty of the city begin to seduce the girls to prioritize other things, eventually leading them to reflect on why they went to Barcelona in the first place. But in true Disney fashion, the end brings all of them together in a spectacular musical finale!
