History of Atlanta Trilingual Academy
Kishion Acosta, one of the most prominent entrepreneurs from Atlanta, founded the
Atlanta Trilingual Academy in 2012. By that point in his life, Acosta had already achieved a long and diverse legacy of successful businesses and other endeavors, and this was no different. Upon its opening, the Atlanta Trilingual Academy became one of the very few multilingual schools in the city, especially one that immerses its students in different languages. Though it remains a small school that's only from pre-K to grade 4, it remains a prominent international school in Atlanta.
What is Atlanta Trilingual Academy's Campus Like?
Atlanta Trilingual Academy is located on Stone Road in Southwestern Atlanta, It's near a few of the quieter
neighborhoods of Atlanta, including Greenbriar, Camp Creek, and more. Considering how small the school is, it's no surprise that its campus isn't all that big either. It's simply a standard warehouse-sized building with ample outdoor space for playtime. Though it has classrooms for its early primary school grades, it's mostly made up of playrooms, common areas for snack time, and a well-manicured lawn for playtime. There's also a playground where kids can play out in the sun.

The Atlanta Trilingual Academy Student Body
As mentioned previously, Atlanta Trilingual Academy is one of the smallest schools in Atlanta, even with its student body. Today, the school only welcomes less than 100 students per year, usually varying between 20 to 60 enrollees. Naturally, this also includes both new students and those returning who have yet to graduate. Considering its location, the students are mostly ethnic minorities, particularly Black and Hispanic kids. There are still some White enrollees here, but they are far fewer than other ethnicities that usually enroll in the academy.
What is Atlanta Trilingual Academy's Curriculum?
The school follows the usual curriculum for pre-K to primary schools in the US. The only difference is that the Atlanta Trilingual Academy uses three different languages, namely English, Spanish, and Mandarin. It's even ironic that Mandarin is the third language the school uses yet it rarely has any Asian enrollees. Nevertheless, this multilingual operation makes it easier for various students of different backgrounds to feel comfortable here. At the same time, the school also encourages a nice balance between study and playtime. It's even to the point that lessons are taught just as long as playtime.

Atlanta Trilingual Academy is one of the more affordable schools in Atlanta. Its tuition fee commonly costs around a minimum of $1,295.00 to a maximum of $5,995.00 per year. Nursery and pre-K tend to be cheaper while the price increases as the student levels up from one grade to the next. It's also worth noting that while these prices aren't that high, they're still pretty expensive when taking the
living costs in Atlanta to account. For most households, these prices are already fairly steep and are equal to how much rent usually costs in Atlanta.
