Spring will be in full swing in
Paris this April 2025, so you just know that things are gonna get a lot livelier in the city. The upcoming month already has a slew of events worth checking out. Right off the bat, many international artists, namely Usher and Tyler, The Creator, will be performing live in Paris this April 2025. The annual Paris Marathon will happen this April, too, and will feature as many as 65,000 runners. And, of course, you can't forget about Easter Sunday too. Even if you're not religious, the holiday still brings a festive spirit around this time of year.
International Artists Live in Paris
As usual, Paris is set to be as star-studded as ever this April 2025. Many international artists are set to perform live in Paris, specifically in the beloved Accor Arena in the
12th arrondissement. Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Usher will take to the stage from April 15 to 16, 2025. There's no doubt he'll do many of his greatest hits, such as “My Boo” (2004) “OMG” (2010), and of course, “Yeah!” (2004). Rapper Tyler, The Creator will then follow suit from April 27 to 28, 2025. It's set to be one of the major stops in his “Chromakopia” world tour.
Art Paris Contemporary Show (April 3 to 6)
If there's one place you should visit in Paris this April 2025, it's the Grand Palais. Located in the elegant
Champs-Élysées neighborhood, the iconic venue will host the annual Art Show, a massive exhibition of contemporary art, from April 3 to 6, 2025. Today's most prominent artists and art galleries will present their latest works and collections, offering a fascinating peek into what the art world is up to these days. The contrast of these modern pieces against the Belle Epoque style of the Grand Palais will be quite the sight to see! What more the exciting artworks themselves too?
Hanami (April 4 to 21)
Did you know that there are
cherry blossoms in Paris? Many of the city's parks have a few of these rosy-hued treets made most famous by and in Japan. One, in particular, is Parc de Sceaux in the Hauts-de-Seine department. Though it's a fair distance away from the city center, it's still worth the time and effort to go there beginning on April 4th. Why? Because the day marks the start of the park's Hanami festival. Yes, you read that right! Paris also hosts cherry blossom festivals like Japan. Here, you can set up a picnic and bask in the delicate beauty of these natural wonders.
Circus Shows at Jardin d'Acclimation (Begin on April 6)
At another park, namely Jardin d'Acclimation in Bois de Boulogne, you'll find a totally different kind of entertainment: the circus! The theme park will begin its season-long string of circus shows for all families in Paris. What's great about it is that it's as traditional a circus as ever. Held in a pitched tent in the middle of the park, the show will feature a lively ringmaster, amazing acrobats, several wild animals, and more. The entire scene is straight out of a classic French novel or a
Disney film, and it's not to be missed if you and your family are in Paris this April 2025.
Comic Con France (April 12 to 13)
Are you a fan of comic books? What about anime? If you're a fan of all of this, then you seriously have to attend Comic Con France this year! To be held at the Parc des Expositions de Villepinte in Paris-Nord, one of the main
Paris Suburbs, it's a massive event for pop culture & entertainment. Here, you can expect the best cosplayers showing off their work, stalls featuring beloved artists, and even some massive stars. Holly Marie Combs & Roze McGowan from Charmed (1998 to 2006), James Marsters from Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1997 to 2003), and Giancarlo Esposito from The Mandalorian (2019 to present) are all slated to appear at Comic Con France 2025.
Paris Marathon 2025 (April 13)
If last year's Paris 2024 Olympics had you dedicated to sports while in the French capital, then look forward to this year's
Paris Marathon. Even before the Summer Olympics came here last year, this annual race has long served as the city's major sports event. This year will be no different! Around 65,000 participants are set to race throughout different
neighborhoods in Paris. The marathon's legacy is such that simply watching the race from the sidelines will give you a rush as much as actually running in the event would. Hence, you shouldn't miss it if you can!
Easter Sunday (April 20)
Naturally, you can't forget about the biggest holiday in April 2025: Easter Sunday! While the French aren't that religious anymore, Christian holidays like this remain big in the city. Those who aren't Roman Catholic or barely practice the faith anymore are still welcome to the many Easter Sunday events set in Paris this year. Expect many Easter Egg hunts, soirees, kiddie parties, and the like. Many restaurants and cafes will also feature special menu items and discounts just for the holiday. So, as much as you want to, you won't be able to escape
