Let's start with something so easy and simple, even your kids can make it for themselves. But because they don't have that much energy yet, you're in charge of breakfast duty. And what better way to start one's day than with sweet and juicy fruit? Not only are they healthy, but they also have enough sugar to instantly wake your kids up. Every bit will perk them up nicely! And for a more exciting meal, why not include a dip too? Peanut butter, Nutella, whipped cream, jam—the possibilities are as endless as they are utterly delicious!

Still within the fruit category, you can also try making yogurt parfaits as well. Now this is double the healthy sweet goodness your kids need for some much-needed energy for the day! Firstly, you'd want the yogurt to be as thick as homemade gelato in Italy, though probably not as rich in flavor. The heaviness of the latter might overwhelm your little ones' palettes. Of course, adding fruit is a good option, especially if the yogurt you used is flavored the same way. Or if you used different fruits to top your parfait, the swirl of tangy tastes will tantalize your kids' taste buds, enough to really weak them up!

But what if your kids are in the mood for pancakes? Well, as much of a breakfast staple these fluffy flat cakes are, they can be quite unhealthy. Easy to make and eat, yes, but can cause quite the tummy ache if your kids eat too much of them. And trust that they'll want to after the first bite! So for a healthier option, you can make whole-grain pancakes instead. Mix in some wheat with your eggs and flour and you have yourself an organic breakfast treat for the ages. And instead of maple syrup, try them with jam instead!

Oops! You forgot to wake the kids! And unfortunately, their alarm clocks didn't go off! Now they're in a rush to go to school, not even considering to stop and sit down for breakfast. That won't do, won't it? Of course not! As their parents, you won't have them not enjoying the most important meal of the day! So what will you do? Bake some muffins! At least these warm treats easy to do and you can whip up a quick batch in a snap! You can even make them mini so that your kids will ahve many bites to enjoy as they ride the bus going to school.

On the opposite end, if you and your kids woke up earlier than expected and you have some time to spare, why not make breakfast together? And what's a treat both of you can prepare and enjoy? Cereal crispies! They're sort of like the famous Rice Krispies but made out of cereal. Pick any you like, heat some marshmallow for that gooey smore-like texture, and enjoy making them. And if you made a lot, what's stopping you from saving some for afternoon tea? Either way, your kids will definitely enjoy making them as much as they will biting into them when they're done!
