Thailand - Villa Rom Trai -- a 4-bedroom 3-bathroom luxury villa features an Asian influenced contemporary with a striking design that cascades down a gentle hillside to the water's edge, carving out multiple levels of comfortable living spaces and intimate gathering areas with breathtaking views across Naka Lay Bay and out over the Andaman Sea.

The entry staircase descends from the foyer into one corner of the lounge, which opens out and connects to the main communal living spaces. Alternatively, guests can take an internal lift which connects three of the main levels. Floor-to-ceiling glass panels offer stunning sea views while colourful abstract paintings adorn the walls and dark wood floors and richly toned furnishings bring a sense of sophisticated tropical luxury to the rooms.

For entertainment and relaxation, you can watch a movie on the 37' LCD TV + DVD in family room, cleanse and refocus in the steam room and separate sauna or check out the welcoming, carpeted library room.

Under an airy double-height atrium sits a spacious dining area, with a breakfast counter for casual snacks, and an enclosed fully fitted kitchen hidden off to one side. The wrap-around pool deck is furnished with a BBQ and unbeatable alfresco dining options with stunning sea views. The in-house chef is well versed in Thai, Western, Chinese and Indian cuisine.

The villa's best feature is the 12-meter infinity-edge pool with wrap-around terrace and outdoor surround sound system with iPod dock. There is also the villa’s expansive lawned terrace which is ideal for sunset family gatherings or an outdoor game with the kids; while the second swimming pool measures 20 meters and is therefore well suited to swimming laps.

All four bedrooms are furnished with king-sized beds. Two of the larger bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms and sprawling private terraces. The remaining two bedrooms are connecting, making the villa an ideal choice for parents that want to keep an eye and ear out for the younger members of the group at night.
