Newly renovated Jan 2021 to a modern and contemporary style throughout, with its own gated beach garden to the rear and an additional secluded courtyard garden to the front of the house offering some privacy and a place to enjoy the evening sunset.
Arranged over three floors and offering well laid out and generous living accommodation, this is the perfect holiday home for a large family or group. This property really does make the most of the breath-taking views on offer, to the right you can see as far as Eastbourne and the South Downs and to the left as far as Hastings.
The house has a garage for one car at the front with additional space for two parked cars on the forecourt. Beyond the double garage there is a secluded large courtyard garden that has a wooden table and chairs, a wooden bench and nice area to enjoy some privacy and of course the sunset in the evenings, this than leads us to the main house. Inside the front door which is accessed via the courtyard garden, there is a lobby and a utility room on the left containing a washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board, washing line etc..., a shower room and WC, and on the right is a bedroom with a triple sleeper bed.
From the lobby there are stairs leading up to the main floor, which is on the same level as the beach, there is a large open plan sitting room with a corner sofa, TV and spectacular views out to sea, an open plan dining area through and a newly fitted kitchen with everything you need to comfortable prepare and cook your owns meals.
Having been completely refurbished in Jan 2021 to a modern and contemporary style, truly a room you will not want to leave. The floors are a grey wood effect giving you a real seaside feel, there are two double bedrooms on the same floor, one of which has an En-suit bathroom. There is also a fully fitted family bathroom just of the lounge area with bathroom with a bath/shower, hand wash basin and WC.
The beach is accessed directly from the lounge area with concertina doors opening onto a large decking area with an outside dining table and benches along with some sun-loungers, a fenced beach garden with uninterrupted views towards the coast.
A wooden staircase leads to the top floor which has a double bedroom with a super king-size bed and En-suite bathroom with the benefit of heated flooring, a WC, shower and heated towel rail, on the same floor there is also another lounge sitting area with an additional TV & DVD Player, a Bluetooth Stereo system, loads of DVD s, books and board games and a mini pool table, to keep all the family entertained indoors too, an HP printer if you want to connect your laptop and some USB cables to charge up your Phone, the lounge then leads on to a balcony that has two three seater benches to sit and enjoy the far reaching and uninterrupted views towards The English Channel.
There is a hotel style wall mounted safe in the master bedroom for safekeeping valuables.
Bed linen and Towels provided. On each bed you will find a set of towels per person. Travel cot, highchair and child safety stairgate is available upon request. Unlimited free Wi-Fi is available throughout the premises. Free use of Kayak (at users’ risk), please only use in safe waters and under adult supervision. life jackets provided.

Please note that once you have booked, you will be contacted directly by SUPERHOG to complete your booking validation, which includes ID verification and optional damage waiver. You will be asked for a non-refundable £35 damage waiver covering you for any accidental damage caused during your stay. There is also an option to opt out.
If you have chosen to pay the damage waiver you must let us know so that we do not hold our normal damage deposit of £200 as per the listing details on the day you check out of our property. If we do not hear from you our normal damage deposit will be held as pending and returned to you within 14 days of your check out date.
Please note we are able to split the three king-sized beds into twin beds by special request but there is an additional fee of £10 per bed split to cover additional cleaning time and laundry costs.

Entry instructions will be provided 4 days prior to your arrival date.

The Neighborhood:
To the west of 1066 country stands Pevensey Bay on the coast. Pevensey Bay is famously known as William of Normandy s landing place in 1066. Pevensey Bay is an old fishing village founded in the 1600 s as Wallsend, the end of the sea wall from Eastbourne.
Pevensey village is located on a ridge of land, which juts out onto marshland and until the 13th Century the marshes were an inlet of the sea. Over time the large bay was gradually cut off from the sea by shingle and today the marshes known as Pevensey Levels, a large nature reserve, stretches for miles behind the shingle beach.
A number of Martello towers were erected along the bay at the beginning of the 19th century against Napoleonic attack.
In the early 1900 s the village became a holiday resort it is today with much of the coastline development started in the 1930 s. Today it is a popular tourist attraction with the nearby historical Pevensey Castle.
Pevensey Bay is well known today to all sailing enthusiasts. The local sailing club offers a variety of classes of boats and has a full programme of racing. The inspiring 31 mile 1066 Country Walk starts at Pevensey Castle, winds its way to Herstmonceux, through Battle and across the countryside to Rye.

We are happy for you to bring a hot tub for your stay but request you let us know as there will be an additional charge of £30 for the use of electricity.
